Ettrick Bay Rothesay
This old wreck was a familiar sight for a long time on the beach during the 90s but it finally broke up during a winter storm and what remained was removed .
Thank you for adding these photos Gerry, I must say I have found them fascinating. I never saw it for myself because I've only been to Bute over the past two or three years. I wonder how she came to be wrecked. I've had a look on the internet and I think she was called The Co-Worker. I tracked down this photo of her in the water (which you may already have seen):
I have no special knowledge of shipping matters, there are other sites which will give you the low down on all the technical stuff. I am just an amateur photographer who enjoys taking photographs of ships and boats,The Firth of Clyde is a tremendously scenic place and I hope some of this comes through in my photographs.
