Govan Graving Docks
Built for the Clyde Navigation Trust between 1869 and 1898,they were used by the Clyde steamers for winter refits ans annual overhauls, the basin was Harland and Wolfs and later on Alexander Stephens fitting out basin.
I have no special knowledge of shipping matters, there are other sites which will give you the low down on all the technical stuff. I am just an amateur photographer who enjoys taking photographs of ships and boats,The Firth of Clyde is a tremendously scenic place and I hope some of this comes through in my photographs.
